Witney Lakes Resort announcement

Dear Member,

In the autumn of 2016, the owners of Witney Lakes were approached by The Club Company Group, a well renowned owner / operator of Golf and Country Clubs, with a view to them purchasing Witney Lakes Resort. After careful consideration, we are pleased to announce that a sale has been agreed between us and The Club Company.

The Club Company presently own 12 other prestigious Golf and Country Club venues in the UK, details of which can be found on their website www.theclubcompany.com. After reviewing their credentials, they are regarded as excellent operators who have achieved a good deal of industry recognition.

The Club Company looks forward to welcoming Witney Lakes Resort, its members and employees within its portfolio.

One of the benefits of joining the Club Company’s network is that full 7 and 5-day adult* golf members will have reciprocal playing rights with their other golf courses (with one exception) in the group, subject to terms and conditions. The golf members satisfying the conditions to benefit from the reciprocal playing rights will be contacted separately in the next few weeks. The closest sites to Witney Lakes are The Warwickshire (near Leamington Spa) and Mapledurham (near Reading).

We would like to thank all our members and staff for all your support over the years and we are sure that under new ownership, the Club will continue to go from strength to strength.
