WLGC Ladies

Well what a day for Witney Lakes ladies team! Today (25th July) we went to the Springs in Wallingford to play in the semi-final of the Oxfordshire County Captain's competition against Haddon Hill - which we won! After a quick lunch we then went out to play in the final against Frilford Heath. The team played well but sadly we were beaten by a better team! We had a great day and are chuffed to have got so far in this comp - usually we are knocked out in the first round! A big thank you and well done to the ladies that played today - Jenny Keeble, Louise Blakesley, Maureen Ives, Sally Baxter, Sue Lansdell and me!
