Captain's Day - Sunday 9th August 2015

The annual Captain's day golf competition was blessed this year with a lovely warm and sunny day throughout. Congratulations to all those in attendance who hopefully enjoyed the trials and tribulations of the Witney Lakes 'Safari Course', especially those who had not played the course set up before.

Congratulations to the winning team of Denise Young and Steve Putt who came in with 66 stableford points taking the result on countback from the worthy runners up Rory and Neil Colleton.

Presentations, raffle and dodging the wasps took place on the resort patio in the warm afternoon sunshine while cold drinks were consumed and stories regailed of what might have been, if only........
